The 3 Construction Workers (really old joke, but one of my favorites when I was little) (Sorry if this has been posted before, I only subscribed recently and haven't seen this one yet) There are three construction workers: Joe, Bob, and Frank. One day they are sitting on an I-beam high above their construction site. It is lunch hour and the three have their lunchboxes, ready to eat lunch. Joe opens his lunchbox and, with a look of disgust, pulls out a burger. ""UGH,"" he says, ""I am SO sick of burgers! Every single day my wife packs me lunch, and every single day it's a burger. I swear, I'm so fed up with burgers that if I have to eat one or lunch one more day, I'll throw myself off this beam."" Bob goes next, and pulls out a thermos of soup. ""I know exactly how you feel buddy,"" he says angrily. ""My wife insists on packing soup for me EVERY SINGLE DAY. This is at least the tenth day in a row! If I have to eat soup for lunch one more time, I'll jump off of here too."" Frank opens his lunchbox and finds a cheese sandwich. ""I'm right there with you guys. Every day, it's a cheese sandwich. I can't take the same old thing anymore! If I have to have one more, I'll jump off with you guys."" The next day, they are sitting on the same beam together eating lunch. Joe opens his lunchbox and finds a burger; so, true to his word, he leaps from the I-beam and dies. Next, Bob opens his lunchbox and finds a thermos of soup, so he jumps as well and dies. Last, Frank opens his and finds a cheese sandwich, so, like his friends, as jumps to his death. The three were very close friends, so their families decide to have a joint funeral. Joe's wife is completely broken down and in hysterics. ""I had no idea! I didn't!"" she cried. ""If only I had known how much he hated burgers, I would've just given him something else!"" Bob's wife is in a similar state. She says between sobs, ""I feel exactly the same. I thought he loved the soup I gave him. If I had known the truth, I would have given him something else!"" Frank's wife, unlike the other two, surprisingly does not look too upset, but instead simply exasperated. Everyone at the funeral looks to her, expecting to hear something similar to the other two. She looks around at everyone and says, ""Don't look at me, the idiot packed his *own* lunch every day!""
