TIL that Karl Marx had a brother, named Moritz. Moritz was an early experimenter in electricity, like Tesla and Edison. He actually designed and developed the first chemical battery ever! It had dipoles, from which he ran lengths of beaten copper wire to his door, and wrapped them around the little looky-outy thing. Crazy, right?
