A woman and her husband rush into the hospital... She's clearly minutes from giving birth. They are both filled with the nervousness of hoping the birth goes well, but also the excitement of holding their child for the first time. After a very brief time in the delivery room, the baby arrived without complications... at least as far as he delivery process itself went. But there was one glaring problem, all that came out of the mother was a giant ear. No torso. No legs. No arms. Just one giant ear the size of a baby. The parents were no doubt confused and alarmed, but remained overwhelmed with unconditional love for the child they had been blessed with. Not surprisingly, the doctors and nurses quickly took the baby into a separate room to examine it for medical concerns, promising to allow the parents to hold their child for the first time as soon as possible. Three hours later, the doctors and nurses returned to the parents with deep sadness on their faces. The head physician approached them and said slowly, ""I'm deeply sorry to give you this news... ...but your baby is deaf.""
